Jeff Oliver

Jeff Oliver, Program Director

Jeff Oliver is the director of the program for the 19th year. He has been the strength and conditioning director at Holy Cross for the past 20 years and served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Worcester Ice Cats, former AHL aff liate of the St. Louis Blues hockey organization.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science from Boston College and earned his Masters Degree in Human Movement from Boston University. He was recently named a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach by the CSCCA. One of only 156 in the country. He also holds certification through the NSCA. Jeff has coached both basketball and football at the collegiate level and played football professionally for 5 years.

Jeff continues to lead the Field in his practical application of scientific research. He is a sought after speaker at sport training clinics and conferences throughout the Northeast. Jeff and his wife Katie have a 16 year old son Peter, a 14 year old daughter Corinne, a 12 year old daughter, Claudia and a 10 year old son, Keating.


Shepard Allen

Shepard Allen

We are pleased to welcome Shepard staff in his first full year on the BeAthletic staff. Shepard has worked tirelessly for the past year preparing our teams at Holy Cross for competition. He works with Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Volleyball and Track and Field. He worked at Holy Cross as an intern in 2009 and has gained considerable experience since that time at the University of Iowa, North Dakota State and Valdasta State. He holds a masters degree and is considered a leader in the field of speed development and program design. He is a relentless hard worker and will bring many upgrades to the BeAthletic program.


Will Franco

Will Franco

Will joins us for his third year as a coach in our program. A native of Worcester, MA., Will attended UMass Amherst and studied Kinesiolgy. He worked with football and baseball while at UMass. He recently received his Masters Degree from Merrimack College in Exercise and Sport Science. His primary team responsibilities were with Women’s Lacrosse and Baseball. Will is one of the best floor coaches in the country. His enthusiasm is contagious!


Nicole Fowler

Nicole Fowler

Nicole joins us for her first year in the Jacked On The Hill program. She recently completed an internship at Holy Cross where she worked with Football, Rowing, Men’s and Women’s Hockey. A native of Hudson she was a four year letter winner in soccer at Springfield College where she was a two time captain, a NEWMAC first team selection, and was selected to the All New England team. She was instrumental in winning an unprecedented 4 straight league championships. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Applied Exercise Science and recently became certified strength coach through the College Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. You will love Nicoles endless positive energy and wit!
